About us

Gino and Juli Scala, founders of Great Full Gardens, combine Gino's extensive experience in procurement and menu mastery with Juli's expertise in life coaching to create a unique dining experience.

In 2013, they were joined by Cyndi Wallis, who brought a holistic approach with raw and fermented creations, and supported by Dr. Sean Devlin and Dr. Ann Barnet, who contribute as board members. With a passionate team of 160 members, Great Full Gardens focuses on making a difference one guest at a time, offering wholesome meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, alongside a full barista service and a selection of specialty beers and wines. Catering to diverse dietary needs, their dishes are made with the highest environmental considerations, featuring local vendors and farmers. The menu is designed to accommodate vegan, gluten-free, and Paleo diets, while offering delicious flavors for everyone.

The journey began in March 2013 with the first café in Midtown Reno, quickly becoming a community favorite. In August 2016, 'The Kitchen by Great Full Gardens' opened, serving as the production hub for GinoTheSoupMan soups and other handmade goods. This location also serves the public as an Organic Soup & Salad Bar and a catering division. The expansion continued with the South Meadows café in October 2016, offering breathtaking views and a pet-friendly patio. In December 2019, the Legends Mall location in Sparks opened, providing the same extensive menu and ambiance. GinoTheSoupMan soups, made with organic, non-GMO ingredients, are available locally and for nationwide shipping, ensuring no one is without their favorite soup.
